8) Making paver block from Waste Plastic.

Plastic waste has been toppled recent years. If you can recall the last theme of the ‘World Environment Day’ was about plastic. Referring to that we can say plastic is a headache for the world. Here, a final year student of Atmiya has found a way to use it as paver blocks. Also, they have been awarded 2^nd best project in the fair.

7) Production of oil from grass through the combustion process

In this project, there is special kind of grass is proposed to plant for the farmer that grass has an odor, so most of the animal do not consume it, so that type of the grass can be used for oil production.

6) An approach toward reurbanisation

This project is under ‘Vishwakarma Yojna’ for development of the village by providing different urban facilities in rural areas. This project is undertaken by diploma civil engineering students at Vejagam Rajkot. here is brief information about their project and model.

5) Soil Stabilization by using lime-fly ash:

Soil stabilization means increasing bearing capacity of soil by foreign materials. Flay ash is freely available as an outcome of the burning of coal in coal-based powerplant wherein fly ash is a big headache to the disposal of so if we can use fly ash for soil stabilization then it could be help improving bearing capacity of the soil.

4) Hydraulic Bridge:

The hydraulic bridge is a kind of bridge which is entirely controlled by the hydraulic system. It main provided where the movement of the ship is higher at the same time an important bridge is passing through it then it will be necessary to provide that type of bridge. The live example that is a famous bridge in London.

3) Seismic Resistant Building:

We’ve already discussed earthquake-resistant building in the previous blog. Where seismic resistant building refers to the building that resists seismic waves of an earthquake by the additional strengthening of a structural member of the building. 1)    Solar Distillation water Treatment Device:

Waster distillation is being very costly these days and especially in rural India where people are not much aware of their health. Also, this device will work on solar energy, so it greatly benefited to both urban and rural region of India. Although it’s a new concept, proper research is needed to evolve for the real world.
